NARATIVE TEXT

Narrative text is text that contains the text of a story / fairy tale. In it there is a conflict / top problem, followed by settlement.

Objective: to entertain the listener / reader to experience the real / imaginary
Generic Structure:
• Orientation: the introduction of the characters, time & place.
• complication: the development of conflict
• Resolution: conflict resolution
• Re-solution: yangterjadi change in character and lessons can be learned from the story.
Linguistic characteristics:
• certain Nouns as pronouns org, animals and objects. Ex: stepsister, housework
• Adjectives that form noun phrases. Ex: long black hair, two red apples.
• Time connectivitas and conjuctions to sort the events - events. Ex: then, before, soon.
• Averb and adverbial phrases to indicate the location of incident / event. Ex: here, in the room, happily, ever after.
